A collection of 100 portraits of women from the 23th December 2011, alongside hundreds of other people gathered in Tahrir Square during the “Friday of Honour”. Egyptians, particularly woman, have been enraged by recent violence committed by Egyptian security forces against protestors demonstrating in front of the Parliament building. This anger was exacerbated further when video surfaced of security forces dragging a woman by her abaya, revealing her naked torso and blue bra to the world as they savagely beat her.

100 Women is a collective project made together with Ines della Valle and Massimo Nolletti.
